Your Shutters are bespoke and tailored to suit not only the unique size of your windows but also to conform in every way to your choice of style, type, colour, louvre size and the host of other decisions you made in formulating the perfect window dressing for your home.
We put your signed off order into production the instant we have your commissioning instructions. Normally, from commissioning to delivery takes six weeks, some special shapes or say bay window units have to be drawn in great detail and signed off after close scrutiny and checking - this can add a few days or weeks depending on the complexity.
- Standard Rectangular Units, all materials
These are normally delivered six week from commissioning, we will give around ten days notice of the arrival - Special Shapes
- Straight edged shapes take the usual six weeks, all materials
- Curved shapes need to be templated, checked and signed off, eight weeks is a good guide and of course these are only available in hardwoods
- Bay Windows
Bay and Bow Windows have to have a drawing made, approved and signed off, add a week to the normal 6. Seven weeks being our experience - Colours
Standard colours cause no delay. Swatch colours(i.e. those found on a fan from the makers) a few days but non standard (mixed, scanned etc.) will add 2 weeks for a colour approval, mix and in sending to the factory. - Special Delivery
Normal freight can of course be replaced by air freight, manufacture and delivery is then around a week to ten days, it is expensive.
